Thank you for looking in. This site is a personal ramble down memory lane so I hope you find your way to something of interest in the jumble.

Hopefully it will grow to contain a wide mix of subjects ranging somewhere between living in Cockermouth in the 1940’s and 1950’s, family history, barn dancing and making measurements within aero engines.

It is very much a ‘Work in Progress’ and I expect pages will change as my understanding of web programming develops so I apologise in advance for any inconsistencies you meet and any comments are welcome via the Contact button.

Many Pictures can be Explored in more detail using the Zoom Feature

  •  Move the cursor onto the picture and if Zoom is available a small window will appear showing the area surrounding the cursor.
  • Adjust the magnification using the scroll wheel on the mouse.
  • To close the zoom window move the cursor off the picture.
