Vespa Sportique 150

This was the first  transport we had after we got married in 1964. With it’s large screen and homemade luggage box it gave us a lot of freedom. Regular trips over the Peak District to Stockport and to the Lake District visiting family were  taken in its stride.

Our first holiday was a camping trip round Cornwall on the Scooter. With a large rucksack inside the leg shield and the tent strapped on top of the box we did almost nine hundred miles round the North and South Coast of Devon and Cornwall. The only problem was running out of power attempting the full load up Porlock Hill.  We got off and walked beside it as it carried the luggage up the hill. Other than that it behaved impeccably.
