I joined the Congregational Church Sunday School when I was about eight years old. It was very well attended with members aged from about four to sixteen. All age groups took part in the various, well attended, shows presented by the Church and Sunday School.

The senior pupils joined the adults in taking the shows to local hospitals.

The photographs show the caste of various productions and one with the whole Sunday School on the Church steps taken about 1954.
