This was one of Piaggio’s ‘Super Scooter’ models. A compact body, lots of under-seat storage and integrated weather protection made it a very attractive package. I had the 250cc model. A 250cc four stroke single engine and automatic twist and go transmission made it very easy to ride.

It coped well with all the Peak District roads and passes but was a bit underpowered for motorway use. I had to wait for a hill before overtaking a lorry for example.
